Casa L.M. – Interior design for a home in Pistoia

Scope of work:

  • Interior design project for an existing home, in dialogue with pre-existing furnishings
  • Custom design of integrated elements: wardrobes, niches, and functional surfaces
  • Study of the balance between full and empty for a measured composition
  • Selection of materials and colours in harmony with the existing identity of the space
  • Enhancement of natural light through soft palettes and textures
  • Design choices focused on continuity, not replacement
  • Complete interior design management: from concept to final implementation

A project born from listening to the space

Casa L.M., in the heart of Pistoia, is an example of interior design for a home carried out with sensitivity and balance — a project that doesn’t add, but integrates; that doesn’t impose, but listens.

The client had already selected furniture and objects over the years that spoke of their story: meaningful, emotional, memory-laden elements.
Seed Homecoming approached the intervention with respect and coherence, working on continuity, not replacement.

The aim was not to transform the space, but to guide it toward a new harmony.
The full and empty volumes, pauses, and intentional absences became part of the composition, in a sober language that leaves space for living.

Materials, light, and proportion: a home that belongs

The project focused on the relationship between existing and newly introduced elements, creating a refined balance throughout the home.
The new materials and colours — never invasive — were chosen to complement the existing context, respecting its tones, proportions, and identity.

The result is an interior design for a home in which custom-designed furniture discreetly merges with what was already there: full-height wardrobes, built-in niches, and functional, lightweight surfaces that feel as though they’ve always belonged to the space.

Light was treated as a living material: amplified, guided, and shaped through conscious choices of palettes and textures.
Its quiet presence contributes to the atmosphere even more than decorative elements or objects.

A design that interprets, not overwrites

Casa L.M. expresses a way of living rooted in identity and balance.
Seed Homecoming saw the project as a dialogue between present and desire — between what exists and what can still evolve.
An approach where interior design for a home becomes a silent gesture that adds meaning without rupture.

Every intervention was calibrated, every void respected, every volume designed to belong — not dominate.

This home doesn’t seek to impress, but to endure. It doesn’t aim to stand out, but to be lived in, day by day, with natural ease.
